Frank's Automotive went above and beyond the call of duty. We were playing a show at BGSU and our trailer had a broken bolt for the leaf spring. We needed a fast turn around to be able to get on the road after the show. Frank's got us in the same day and had us all fixed up within 2 hours of dropping it off. Their pricing was very fair and Frank knew exactly what needed to be done to fix the trailer. We made it home safely. I highly recommend Frank's. He was honest, efficient, and very knowledgeable.

(June, 2026 update) Frank's Automotive just completed suspension work for us and the car feels great. I rest easy knowing we have a shop we trust here in Bowling Green for automotive work. Just adding an update (May, 2026): Just had a clutch replaced at Frank's Automotive. Repair was done in a single day and the clutch feels great. Thanks, everyone at Frank's Automotive! This review is long overdue as Frank's Automotive has been my go-to repair shop for more than 16 years. Frank and his staff have always given me rock-solid advice about car repairs. They have given me guidance about how to take care of some repairs for myself, saving me money, and reliably tackled repair work for me for a fair price. When I get advice from Frank he's always going to be thinking about safety and about what's cost-effective. Maybe it comes from the towing side of his business because Frank sure has seen what happens from a safety perspective when someone's had a catastrophic failure that leaves them stranded on the road or worse. Frank isn't going to compromise on safety. Keeping cars running reliably and safely is paramount, but Frank also lets me know what my options are for saving money on maintenance are repairs. With some businesses, you wonder if they might be out to soak the customer, but that isn't the case with Frank's Automotive. Having local experts I can turn to and trust is a big part of what makes a community feel like a great place to live. Having a quality shop like Frank's Automotive here locally to keep my family's cars reliable and safe is a real asset to Bowling Green.

Although the calls continue to come, Frank is always friendly and patient to his customers. He will give his advice based on your situation, and let you know what available options do you have. You can just describe your concerns and he will inspect for you. Frank is trustable, professional, and honest, He won’t rip you off. The cost is affordable, ofc always recommend to discuss before working, to make sure nothing surprised. It’s better to make an appointment before you go. After all, I definitely recommend you to come here, especially you’re not too familiar with car, Frank will draw a picture to explain it.. so you can also learn some knowledge from it. (If you’re interested.)
