How do I find a locksmith near me?
Browse by city from the city directory, or pick the type of work you need from the categories above. Every listing shows the business name, the area it serves and, where we have it, a phone number and website you can check yourself.
Does it cost anything to use this directory?
No. Searching and contacting locksmiths through this site is free. Locksmiths can pay for a more prominent listing. See the plans. That does not change what it costs you to look someone up.
Are these locksmiths vetted or guaranteed?
No. Every provider listed is an independent business. We do not warrant or guarantee any service performed or product offered. Before you hire anyone, confirm they carry the license and insurance your job requires. Our post on how to check if a locksmith is licensed shows the steps.
How do I avoid a locksmith scam?
Ask for the full legal business name, get the total price before work starts, not just a service call fee. Be wary of quotes that sound too low or arrival times that sound too fast. Some listings have no phone number. Why?
For a small number of businesses we hold the name and location but not the contact details. Those pages say so, and you can call the number at the top of the page for help reaching a locksmith in that area.
How do I add or claim my locksmith business?
Fill in the claim or add form. You can send up to five photos with it. A person checks every claim before anything changes. The plans page shows the free tier and the paid ones.
