  I would strongly caution anyone considering this company to get a complete written estimate of all charges before scheduling service. If not written, have them send you an e-mail. Before booking an appointment for my elderly parents, I specifically asked what it would cost to fix a door handle that had simply come loose. I was told there would be a $60 service call fee and that additional charges would apply only if lock repair was required. I knew there would be some charge for them to read attach the handle, just not the price they finalized. Based on that information, I scheduled the visit. The technician arrived and reattached the existing handle using the original screws. The work took only a few minutes and no parts were required. However, the final bill was $279, consisting of the $60 service call, a $120 emergency fee that had never been disclosed even though I saked multiple times, and an additional $99 repair charge. They knew full well they were going to charge an extra fee and specifically decided not to discolse. My biggest concern is not the amount alone, even though it was not reasonable at all for the issue—it's the lack of transparency. I specifically asked about pricing before authorizing the service, yet the $120 emergency fee was never mentioned. Had I been told the actual cost structure, I would have had the opportunity to make an informed decision. When I questioned the charges, I received conflicting explanations about who determines the pricing. At no point before the work was completed was I given a clear understanding of what the service would actually cost. If I could give zero stars I would.
