I had a couple key blanks for my car that I got with a couple fobs I ordered. They cut them for $14 but they didn't work and they figured out that they didn't work because the key blanks didn't match my original key's design. They refused to refund the $14 charge for cutting them which took all of a couple minutes. Now I can't return the key blanks because they are cut so I am also out another $16. I don't know how a " Locksmith " that picks out key blanks all day long to cut keys is unable to verify the key blanks match the master key before cutting them and then just blame it on the " not a Locksmith " customer that came to them to do the work because they do the stuff for a living and are supposed to know what they are doing. As an Equipment Tech I work on equipment all day long and being that my job, I verify parts are correct before installing them and don't just blame vendors if I get incorrect or bad parts while just blindly installing them and costing the customers time and money. It would have cost Keys Plus $0 to have stood behind their work and show some professionalism and ethics. Thank goodness it only cost me $30 to find out who not to use when it comes to locksmith work that is actually complex or important. No ethics, no professionalism, no proficiency in their trade, no bueno!
