Fantastic family-owned locksmith of the old school artisanal variety. Master key maker, measured my oddball key by hand, ordered key based on the lost code, and made a key for a lock that would otherwise have needed to be replaced altogether. And wonderful people on top of that. "We're the place that the other locksmiths come to, say they did it, and mark the price up." (Looking at the recent reviews & responses, most negative reviews seem to be from the entitled, impatient Westchester type. I remember my one visit years later because the owner is a real dude with a personality, but some can't tell the difference between having 'character' & rudeness.)

Just like how it was described in all the numerous negative reviews here, the owner was extremely rude and dishonest. First, the wife made a duplicate key for me and I noticed it was much shorter than the original and the cuts did not even match. When I asked about that, the husband took over, offered no explanation, made another duplicate, refused to let me check the "new" duplicate, and said I must pay him immediately (a charge more than the posted price) before he gives me back my original. I was in a hurry so I paid him just to get my original back. I wish I had checked and seen all the negative reviews and avoided this place.

I don’t understand how this place can be open! It’s a very filthy place, full of plastic all over making difficult to hear and the woman uses a mask you barely can understand what she says, they treat you so bad, they don’t accept cards and they scream at you when you ask for them if they accept it, she almost had a heart attack! Don’t go there!!!!
