I have a custom rounded-top storm door that is 10 years old. The spring for the handles started to get mushy and the handles would no longer bounce back to their positions. I called Cy Drake and explained the issue and they sent someone out for $175 to look at it. The gentleman wiggled the handles, took some photos, and explained that the lock was shot and needed replacement. He was gone in a matter of minutes. After not hearing back from them I reached out to see if they had found a replacement. They informed me that they had checked with 3 different distributors and no one had a matching lock. Their recommendation was to purchase a new storm door, which costs $3,500 (because it is custom...old house). I then decided to take the lock apart and go to another locksmith for a second opinion. In minutes, he was able to hand me a replacement for $49 on the spot. I took it home and installed it myself. When I called Cy Drake back and explained what had happened, their response was, "oh, glad you figured it out", but there was absolutely no way they were going to refund me the $175 they charged and no apology for telling me I needed to purchase a new $3,500 door, when I didn't. When I asked her if she thought it was fair to charge me for zero service, she responded, "That's our policy and I told you up front that nothing is guaranteed". I've lived in Morristown for 27 years and have used them multiple times over the years, but regrettably, this will be the last.

Amazing prompt service. Needed a new key for my Honda key fob, along with an extra pair of house keys. Very reasonable pricing and prompt 20 minute service. He ensured everything was working perfectly before I left. 10/10.
